You can remove ShareTo's access and have your data deleted at any time, in any of the three ways below.
1. In ShareTo
- Disconnect one account: sign in, find the account on your dashboard and select Disconnect. ShareTo deletes its access token and account identifiers right away, and cancels posts still scheduled for it.
- Delete your workspace: open Settings, go to Delete workspace and account, type DELETE and select Delete everything. We delete your account, connected accounts and their tokens, scheduled and published post records, and uploaded media right away. Encrypted backups roll over within 30 days.
2. On the platform
You can also remove ShareTo's access directly in each platform's settings:
- Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites, then remove ShareTo.
- Facebook: Settings, then Business integrations, then remove ShareTo.
- Google and YouTube: Third-party connections in your Google Account, then remove ShareTo.
- TikTok: in the app, Settings and privacy, then Security and permissions, then app permissions, then remove ShareTo.
- LinkedIn: Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services, then remove ShareTo.
- X: Settings and privacy, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions, then Connected apps, then revoke ShareTo.
Revoking access stops all publishing to that account straight away. The data we already received is then deleted within 30 days, or within 7 days for data received from YouTube.
3. By email
Write to hello@shareto.social with the subject “Data deletion” from the email address on your account, and tell us which platform and account the request is about. Within 30 days we delete the related tokens, identifiers, posts and media and confirm by email. If we need to keep a specific record by law, we will tell you which one and why.
4. What stays on the platforms
Posts that were already published remain on the platform until you delete them there, because they are now part of your account on that platform. Deleting your ShareTo data does not remove them. More about how we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.
